Virtual reality in Marktpassage Stadthagen

The VIRTUAL ARENA Marktpassage is bringing state-of-the-art VR gaming to Stadthagen in the form of a pop-up test lab. On a 9 x 6-meter free-roam play area, up to 4 players can experience virtual reality simultaneously with complete freedom of movement—entirely wireless and without any heavy additional equipment.

Whether with friends, family, or as a team—the focus here is on shared gaming fun, action, and authentic experiences. Thanks to modern wireless VR technology, players ages 8 and up can dive right into the adventure and experience cooperative and competitive games up close.

The VIRTUAL ARENA is initially launching as a limited-time test operation in the Marktpassage Stadthagen. Perfect for families, children’s birthday parties, groups of friends, clubs, small team events, or simply as a special leisure experience—even in bad weather.

Since space is limited, we recommend booking online at least 24 hours in advance. Walk-ins are also possible—if slots are available.

Laser Tag

In Laser Tag you’ll experience action-packed battles with laser weapons in the simulated urban combat of the future. In this fast-paced and exciting science fiction shooter you’ll dive into a world that offers many winding corridors and rooms, as well as obstacles to hide behind.

Paintball

Incredible paintball action for young and old in a scenario with many creative and colorful obstacles. The setting was inspired by a well-known South Korean TV series.

Zero Gravity Tennis

Zero Gravity Tennis is e-sports with real calorie consumption! Two players compete against each other and must use energy paddles to try to move a weightless ball into the out of the opponent’s field. This is where you really work up a sweat.

The Secret of the Arc of the Convenant

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of science fiction and explore the greatest mysteries of human history together with your team. In this immersive virtual reality adventure, you will follow in the footsteps of a 3’000-year-old story told in 4 exciting chapters.

Office War

This fast-paced shooter is the perfect game to challenge your colleagues after a long day at the office! Armed with fountain pens, you have to prove your skill and marksmanship in an open-plan office.

Wild West

Young and old alike will quickly work up a sweat in this action-packed, competitive shooter. Changing indoor and outdoor settings provide plenty of variety.

The Magical Castle Unspunnen

In this magical shooter you’ll be transformed into sorcerer’s apprentices who will have to prove their skill in front of an enchanting scenery in Unspunnen Castle. The beautifully designed environment is reminiscent of a well-known novel series that has been filmed several times.

Zero Gravity Marbles

In this innovative VR game, you have to prove your skills in a Zero-G VR Esports Arena. The aim of the game is to skilfully move a large marble through smaller marbles into a mysterious black hole. You only have a few seconds per shot to do this.

Snow Battle

Snow Battle is a virtual snowball fight for the whole family. In front of a magical backdrop, 2 teams compete against each other and experience a winter fun of a very special kind.

Mini Block Towers

In this innovative and family-friendly game for kids 7 and up, you’ll be shrunk to toy size and move around a giant playroom. You have to defend your own tower and always be careful not to get hit yourself.

Joller House

After a party, you have spontaneously decided to take a shortcut through the forest. You get lost and have no mobile phone connection. The forest is getting thicker and darker. You hear thunder rumbling in the distance. You notice a faint light. You approach and discover a house…the Joller House.

How it works

At the VIRTUAL ARENA Marktpassage, you can choose from a variety of VR games right on the spot. You’ll play in a modern free-roam area with complete freedom of movement and fully wireless VR technology.

A session consists of approximately 25 minutes of pure gameplay. Including a briefing, setup, and a brief player change, you should plan on spending about 30 minutes in total.

Slots are offered in fixed time slots and can be conveniently booked online in advance. Since the number of spots is limited, we recommend booking early, especially on weekends and during school breaks.

To ensure everyone can play safely and have maximum fun, please follow our team’s guidelines and safety instructions at all times.

You can choose from a variety of VR games on-site.
All games are non-violent and suitable for children ages 7 and up.

Important: Our games require at least two players. Therefore, you will need at least one other player to enjoy the experience.
